Hot off the printing press: Access Labels continues to grow

For 27 years, Access Labels has been providing good jobs in Amherst and offering specialized labels to its clients in Canada and the eastern United States. It is the largest label printing company in Atlantic Canada, producing high quality labels for customers mainly in the food processing industry. Demand for the company’s services is growing as Atlantic Canadian manufacturers grow and export their products.

Today, Lenore Zann, Member of Parliament for Cumberland – Colchester, on behalf of the Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Economic Development and Official Languages, announced a repayable contribution of $835,000 to support the expansion of Access Labels.

This investment, provided through the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency’s (ACOA) Regional Economic Growth through Innovation program, will enable the company to buy specialized equipment to produce pressure sensitive labels in-house and renovate a vacant warehouse to accommodate a new digital printing facility. These changes will increase Access Labels’ efficiency, help it meet increased demand and increase capacity to take on more clients.
